IIM Mumbai to accept CAT scores

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai, formerly known as the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), will consider the Common Admission Test (CAT) score for admission. The application fees for open-category candidates are Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 for SC, ST and PwC candidates. For a Master's in Business Administration (MBA), the candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA. The eligibility criteria are 45 per cent for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
Candidates applying for MBA (Operations and Supply Chain Management) need to have an aggregate of 50 per cent marks from a recognised university in the disciplines - MSc (Mathematics), MSc (Statistics), minimum five-year Dual Degree (Mathematics and Computing), minimum four-year BS/BTech (Economics). There is a five per cent relaxation for SC, ST and PwD candidates. Students in their final year can also apply if they meet the criteria for examinations appeared to date and will complete their examinations, viva voce, etc. at the time of joining the institute.
CAT 2023
CAT 2023 will be conducted on November 26 in three sessions. This year, the conducting body is IIM Lucknow. The admit cards will be available for download from October 25. The exam will be conducted in 155 cities and the candidates will have the option to choose from any six test cities. Aspirants would need the following documents for CAT registration: valid email address and phone number, class 10 and 12 marksheet, college transcripts, ID proof, provisional certificate for the final year to be filled by college and PwBD/Disability certificate (if needed).
