Dr Navneet Anand: A communication professional having worked for 15 years in large media houses, academics and corporate sector. He worked with Indian Express, The Times of India, The Pioneer and tech magazine PC World. Anand blends vast professional experience with high-end academic and research training. A doctorate in media from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Anand has authored two books including The Media Effect (2003) and contributes academic papers for national and international journals. A columnist with leading English newspapers, he writes regularly on development issues. He helped set up Fijeeha with an aim to enrich journalism by empowering journalists.

Dr Umakant Mishra: Formerly Principal Director, Press Information Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India. He has also served as the Director General, Directorate of Advertising & Visual Publicity, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and Chairman, National Media Campaign Committee on Flagship Schemes, Prime Minister's Office. A keen academic with vast experience in Development, Dr Mishra was also the Director of Indian Institute of Mass Communication.



Nandini Sahai: Director/Chief Executive, The International Centre Goa (ICG). She is also the Founder Director (Hon.), Media Information and Communication Centre of India (MICCI). Ms  Sahai is a distinguished development journalist with more than 35 years of experience. She is one of the leading Right to Information (RTI) advocates. She organized a number of public hearings, seminars and workshops for the RTI movement in India. She was also the member of the select committee representing the media in formulating the RTI Act for the Delhi Government.


Dr Jay G Varshney: Former Director, Directorate of Weed Science Research, Indian Council of Agriculture Research ICAR, Government of India. Dr Varshney has vast experience in teaching, research, management and consultancy. He has also served as Principal Scientist which is equivalent to University Professor in Agricultural Research Service of ICAR. He has authored 12 books and around 250 research and other publications. He is an authority on agriculture.



Sidhartha Mishra: President, Centre for Reforms, Development and Justice, New Delhi. He is also a consulting editor for Millennium Post. Mr Mishra has been the Associate Editor of The Pioneer for many years and is among the most respected journalists in Delhi. He is a keen analysts of social and political issues





Dr Sanjay Kumar Singh: Director, SEWA Bharat, one of country’s leading NGOs. Dr Singh has a doctorate in Microfinance Interventions among Women Workers from prestigious Jawahar Lal Nehru University at New Delhi. He devises organizing strategies for women in the informal sector and formulates advocacies for urban livelihoods and better living conditions.





Atul Kumar: CEO of Shriv ComMedia Solutions (SCMS). A veteran in marketing, Mr Kumar has vast experience in areas of Technology and Marketing in International and Domestic markets, and customer service delivery operations and management. Prior to venturing a software development company, he had worked in various reputed technology organizations. He is a keen thinker on social and political issues.




Ms Yeshi Seli: A journalist for nearly two decades and has worked with five leading publishing houses - The Oberserver of Business and Politics, The Indian Express, The Pioneer, The Financial Express and Business India (where she is currently working as an Assistant Editor).The subjects that she has written on range from civil aviation and petroleum sector to CSR, Corporate Reports and even social issues, crime and lower courts. She has done many cover stories in her current organisation on companies like UTC, ONGC, Air India - to name a few. Her analytical skills has encouraged a few Corporates to seek her help on Media Strategy and analysis. She has been a Press Information Bureau (PIB) accredited journalist for over 10 years and has also won an award for outstanding contribution to journalism by PRSI. She has traveled widely within India and overseas on work - attending global conferences and forums. She holds an M Phil degree in History from Delhi University.

Shahnaz Biswas Yeasmin: A young journalist from Dhaka (Bangladesh), Ms Yeasmin specialises in development communication with special focus on women, health, children and human rights. She is currently working as a Senior Reporter at Boishakhi Television. Previously she worked with Bangladesh Nari Sangbadik Kendra (Women Journalism Organization). She holds the prestigious Salma Sobhan Fellowship in Women for journalism. A post graduate in English, Yeasmin has travelled extensively and among others has been to attend WHO conference in Geneva. She has also undergone training including Investigative Reporting at Journalism and Training Researce Institute(JATRI); Gender,Sexuality and Sexual Health at Games P'Grant School at BRAC University; Foundation Course on Journalism including various kinds of reporting, editing and feature writing at Bangladesh Press Institute (PIB); gender sensitive reporting at Bangladesh Women Journalism Centre.

Dr Pooja Rana: A graduate in English Honours from the prestigious St Bede’s College, Simla and a Post Graduate and Doctorate in Mass Communication from Guru Jambeshwar University of Science and Technology from Hisar, India, Pooja has trained thousands of journalists as a teacher and mentor. Rana has presented papers in several national and international conferences in India and abroad and has many publications to her credit, including books titled ‘Supplement Journalism in India’; ‘Anna Hazare: The Face of India’s Fight against Corruption’; ‘Media in the Swirl’ & textbooks on advertising and public relations. She is recently working as a Professor at Amity School of Communication, Amity University Haryana.
