NEP focusses on equitable, inclusive education: Dharmendra Pradhan

Speaking at the 82nd Indian Public Schools' Conference, the Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, said that a knowledgeable individual is the building block of a good society, a just society, and a progressive society.

How NEP helps the disadvantaged

Addressing the occasion, the ministers went on to say that the National Education Policy 2020 focusses on equitable and inclusive education with special emphasis given on socially and economically disadvantaged groups.

Dharmendra Pradhan went on to urge the schools attending the conference to reflect on the inclusivity of our leading schools and further think about what more can be done to ensure that every child in the country gets the best education.

Stressing further, the Union Education Minister said that it is the duty of every citizen of the country to do what is best for their children to provide them with the fundamental right to education, and guide them to their full potential, thereby making India and the world a better and more inclusive place.

What is IPSC?

The Indian Indian Public Schools' Conference, is a conference of 81 of India's leading schools which hold significant influence in terms of capacity to influence future generations and was started in 1939.

Expressing his confidence, the Union Education Minister stated that the conference was productive and provided everyone with the opportunity to learn something new to reflect, innovate, and implement in their schools to generate curious, learned, and well-informed leaders for society and the nation.
